Meagan Brockhoff and Matea Babcock teach basic 4-H horsemanship skills on the ground and riding. This is a clinic designed to help 4-H members improve their horsemanship and hone their skills for upcoming H-4 shows. *Free to 4-H members.

Meagan Brockhoff, holds a B.A. in Kinesiology from Kansas State University. For seventeen years, she’s developed her expertise in western performance, including barrel racing, cowboy dressage, and rodeo. In 2009 Meagan titled as Miss Rodeo K-State, subsequently representing the university at over 20 rodeos and parades. Since then, Meagan and her husband Brad have been providing equestrian training from their ranch near Hiawatha, Kansas.

Matea Babcock is a certified Rider Biomechanics Coach, and specializes in horse development. Because of her background in horse development, she can pinpoint the problem between horse and rider, and give you the tools to fix it. She helps horse owners with problems such as trailer loading, spooking, bad ground manners, won’t stop, bits, rears, etc. She not only helps address behavioral issues with the horse, but also helps you, as the rider, with personal development to achieve your horsemanship goals and improve your confidence.
